Gravel Calculator
Gravel volume, weight, and delivery quantities.
Project planning / 7 calculators
The same garden area can need very different quantities depending on the material and depth. Use a calculator that accounts for the way your supplier sells it: bags, cubic yards, tons, rolls, or seed weight.
Gravel volume, weight, and delivery quantities.
Soil volume and weight for beds and lawns.
Paving volume, tonnage, and a material estimate.
Sod rolls, pallets, and a lawn budget.
Bulk yards or bags for your planting beds.
Seed quantities for new lawns or overseeding.
Sand volume, weight, bags, and delivery costs.
Before you order
Measure beds, paths, lawn sections, or driveway areas individually. Keep areas that need different materials or depths separate instead of averaging them together.
Depth controls bulk volume. Product density controls weight, and compaction can affect the amount to order. Use the chosen material’s specifications when those differ from the calculator’s assumptions.
Use bag coverage or bulk pricing from your supplier. Add delivery and other costs separately, and check the load weight before planning to collect material yourself.
For an existing lawn, distinguish overseeding from starting a new lawn. For new coverage, compare the grass seed and sod calculators using the same measured area.
