Privacy policy

The short version: the math runs in your browser, nothing you type is uploaded, and we do not set analytics cookies unless you accept them.

Your inputs never leave your browser

Every calculation on Materialwright runs on your own device, in JavaScript, in the page you are looking at. The measurements, prices, and text you type into any tool are never sent to us or to anyone else. There is no server that receives them, nothing is stored after you close the tab, and there is no account to create. You can confirm this by opening your browser's network tab while you use a tool: entering numbers makes no requests.

Analytics, only with your consent

We would like to know which calculators people find useful so we can build the right ones next. To do that we use Google Analytics 4, and only after you accept it in the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no usage is recorded.

When you do consent, what GA4 records is anonymous and aggregate:

We do not build user profiles, we do not sell or share data, and there is no advertising network tracking you across this site. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

Links to other sites

Some pages show a promotion for an app we think fits the audience. If you click it you leave Materialwright, and that destination has its own privacy policy. We do not pass any of your inputs to it; a click is a click.

If you email us

When you write to toolhunter99i@gmail.com, we use your message and address for one thing: to reply to you. We do not add you to any list and we do not use it for marketing.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes, this page is updated to match. Questions about any of it are welcome on the contact page.
